with clean prefs it doesn't crash when having f&s closed. s/click/double-click/ (to replace solid fill with new mesh) to test: launch with new prefs, draw rect, switch to mesh tool and click on rect to add mesh (without even opening fill&stroke) or rather - is there any relation to having that dialog opened in the current session?
